Applications are invited for the following vacant posts in Khyber College of Dentistry Peshawar from the
candidates fulfilling the requisite requirements.
1 . associate Professor N° " Posts 01 BPS 19 Age 2745 years or equivalent qualification in Dentistry approved and registered by the (b) Level II b/ Ill Post graduation like Ph.D/ FCPS/ M.D.S. M.Phil or equivalent postgraduate qualification recognised by the council in respective basic subject Experience: Five teaching Assistant Professor in the Basic Dental Subject Oral Pathology years experience as an respective subject. At least 3 research papers in 5 years be published in standard Dental / Medical joumal as approved by the PM.DC in the respective subject. 2. Assistant Professor Basic Dental Subject 01 i 8 27, years (a) BDS or equivalent qualification in Dentistry approved and registered by the PM.. (b) Level III Post graduation like ITh.D/ FCPS/ m.p.s, M.Phil or equivalent postgraduate qualification recognised by the council in respective basic subject E.3.rkLree: 2 years teaching experience as Lecturer/ Demonstrator before or Science of Dental Materials Assistant Professor after Level-11 b. No experience is required for Level-III post graduation who can be appointed directly as Assistant professor. a 01 18 2745 years M.Phil in Bio-Statistics from an HEC Recognized University Experience: Bio-Statistics 03 years practical experience in any recognized MedicaVDental Institution. 4' Assistant Professor Clinical Subjects 02 01 01 01 l8 2745 years (a) B.D.S. or equivalent qualifications recognized/registered by the PM&DC. (b) Level III FCPS/M.D.S (Pak) Experience: i. Operative Dentistry ii. Orthodontics iii. Oral & Maximilianus Surgery iv. Pediatric Dentistry 2 years teaching experience as Lecturer/ Demonstrator /instructor before or after Level-11 b. No experience is required for Level-111 post-graduation who can be appointed directly as assistant professor. Note: Candidates with level-11 (b) qualification will be considered only when no suitable candidates with level-111 is available. 5. Anesthetist 01 19 ---- a. Postgraduate Degree/Fellowship in the specialty from a recognized University/Institute with at least one year experience in the relevant specialty before or after post-graduation; OR b. Diploma in the specialty from a recognized Institute with at least three years experience in the relevant specialty. Note: Candidates possessing the requisite qualification exceeding the age of 60 can also apply on fixed pay package equal to pay of BPS-19. Application on the prescribed form (available from the Office of the undersigned or can be downloaded from www.kcd.edu.D1c/ ) accompanied with curriculum vitae, attested photocopies of Degrees/Diplomas, experience certificates and research articles (in case of faculty positions) must reach the office of the undersigned within 15 days of the publication of this advertisement during working hours. a) Services of selected/appointed candidates will be governed under the MTI Act 2015 & regulations made in this context and their services will be on the terms & conditions mentioned in appointment order. However, on their selection/appointment as "Institutional Employee" they will have to resign from Govt.Service if any. b) They will be on probation for a period of at least one year (Extendable). c) For Serial No.1 to 14, a demand draft of Rs.1000/- and for S.No. 15 to 22, a demand draft of Rs.500/- payable in name of Dean KCD Peshawar shall be attached with the prescribed form as processing fee. 2. Interview calls will be issued to short listed candidates only. Shortlisting will be done through written test wherever so required. 3.
