REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) FOR APPOINTMENT OF EXTERNAL AUDITORS (FIRST AUDITORS)
Trans Peshawar (The Urban Mobility Company), a public sector company registered under Section 42 of the Companies Ordinance 1984 requests proposals from reputable Chartered Accountant Firms for appointment as Statutory (External) Auditors (as first auditors of the company). The services of Statutory (External) Auditors shall be hired on the basis of Quality and Cost based method of selection using single stage two envelope bidding process. Eligibility Criteria  • Having satisfactory ICAP QCR rating • Affiliated with reputable major/global accounting firm as a member firm • Having established its office in major cities of Pakistan • Minimum 15 years of experience in the profession • Experience of providing audit services to at least 15 public sector organizations including section 42 companies during the last three years • Having at least 4 partners (02) months before the date of publishing of this REP. • Firm should be registered for tax and be active tax payer • Firm should not be black listed, nor any contract rescinded in the past for non-fulfilment of contractual obligations (An affidavit to be submitted on stamp paper worth PKR 50/to this effect) Firms fulfilling the above eligibility criteria should submit their proposals in two separate sealed envelopes clearly marked as technical and financial proposal directly to the Company Secretary on the below mentioned address within fifteen (15) days of publication of this RFP: Company Secretary Trans Peshawar, Transport & Mass Transit Department of GoKP, Civil Secretariat, Peshawar, Pakistan.
